![]() ![]() Just completed the game, ez lvl 40 or something if not counting the useless mages and miner upgrades. ![]() With a sound that mocks a roar, the vine drags him back into the depths. He looks down in shock as the light illuminates a sickening green vine coiling on his foot. His leg feels like it's crushing, the bone is struggling to maintain it's integrity as something tightens around it. The glint of sunlight filters through the moist darkness of the cave and just when he has the idea in his head that he might make it out, his ankle catches on something and he falls. Unlike all the other times, he managed to predict when the next vine would trip him, so he dodges it and makes it a ways away from the beast. Even through the darkness of the cave, he can see the terrifying monster in all its glory. ![]() He manages to get back up to look behind, the beast is so close he can see the sharpness of its teeth and smell the foulness of its breath. Every time he has a short flight of footing, a vine whips onto his leg, tripping him, causing him to graze his skin on the sharp rocks embedded in the ground. Whereas the Plantera Boss Theme feels like a hero on his last legs trying to stumble his way away from a mass of vines and teeth. He lets out a hard battlecry as he flies into battle. Knowing he has no way out, he raises his sword towards the beast, his shield over his chest, and his voice over the roar of the monster. The horrifying visage of a monster that has taken so many lives, and has yet to fall, fills the hero's already frightened mind. Knowing his fate, the hero slowly turns.Ī beast of godlike proportions towers before him. The exit finally appears in sight, only for a large rock to fall and trap the hero inside, blocking the door completely. The way I'm imagining Lamprey is a scene wherein a warrior is running through a corridor trying to get out of a dungeon, objects are crashing around him thrown by some massive creature, forcing him to dodge and weave, slowing him, making his legs burn as they drive faster. Even with the guitar in it, they just sound so different from each other. This song sounds more like the backing to an epic fight, fast paced energy to get the blood pumping, whereas the Plantera theme song sounds more like 'You done fucked up now', an ominous mix of the game's main music and sound effects to relate to the player that they are likely to die over and over again. +Little Pootis (But Actually Pyro) I don't know. ![]()
